Consignment Agreement

All consignment agreements include:  sales commission, check mailing address, contact information, an inventory of property being consigned, and a schedule of any applicable fees that apply.   You may deliver your property to the gallery on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday between the hours of 10am-4pm or call the gallery and schedule our team of experienced movers to pick up your property at your location. All information regarding consignments and consignors is confidential. 


Post Auction Results and Settlement


You may contact us five business days after the auction for individual results. Gallery 95 Auction mails a settlement report, including a description of each lot, the selling price minus the commission along with a check.  Upon request checks may be picked up at our auction gallery.


All of our cataloged live gallery auctions are conducted at Galley 95, and simultaneously broadcast in real-time over the internet,  "Live Streaming"  where bids may be placed electronically during the sale as the sale is going on.  Gallery 95 Auction House also conducts online only auctions. In an online only auction the catalog is posted online for buyers to leave pre-bids ahead of time or bid live when the auction starts to sell each lot one by one on a specific date and time.

Buyers assume full responsibility for packing and shipping of lots purchased at auction. Gallery 95 Auction will provide a recommended shipping company on request. If a buyer arranges for a third party who is not suggested, the buyer must send an email to info@gallery95auction.com or call (843) 784-5006 to release the property.  Gallery 95 Auction is a dynamic full-service auction company. Auction Catalog

For the convenience of our clientele, Gallery 95 Auction publishes an online auction catalog for all our auctions whether it is an online only or a live gallery sale.  In the catalog you will find lot numbers, pictures, condition of the items, and the ability to leave absentee bids or you may join in on the live streaming portal and bid live with us from where ever you may be.

Bidding At Gallery 95 Auction


When you attend a Gallery 95 Auction and plan on bidding, you must register for a bidder number. There is no registration fee, but your full contact information is required. This includes government-issued identification, phone number, and your agreement to the Terms of the Auction. It is imperative to preview and inspect all items thoroughly before bidding, as all items are sold "as is".

Once the auction starts, the auctioneer will clearly announce the lot number and bid increments as the bidding begins and proceeds. The lot numbers begin with number one and continue chronologically until all lots in the auction have been offered.

To submit a bid, raise your bidder number facing the auctioneer when the lot number you wish to bid on is called. The auctioneer will give fair warning when the bidding is about to end. The lot will be sold to the final bidder. The auctioneer will announce the hammer price and paddle number when the lot has been sold. Please remember that your bid is a contract. Place a bid only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the successful bidder, you have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase the property.

When you are the winning bidder on an item(s) and finished for the night, please proceed to the front counter, examine your invoice, and make full payment before removing your purchased items.

Public Gallery Preview

Our gallery holds a preview of auction property before the auction free of charge and open to the public. Preview for cataloged auctions generally begin the Friday prior to the auction from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Saturday from 3 p.m. to the end of the auction. 

Condition Reports

We want all clients to be fully satisfied with purchases made at Gallery 95 Auction.  Therefore, we strongly encourage potential bidders to gather as much information as possible regarding a lot's condition, provenance, or additional photographs before bidding. All property is sold "as is," thus it is very important to obtain as much information as possible before bidding. Questions regarding any lot should be directed to one of our seasoned staff members so as to provide you with a thorough condition report. Condition reports are to be regarded as opinions only. All items are sold as is where is.


There are several ways to obtain a condition report: (1) Attend the auction preview, (2) call our gallery at (843) 784-5006, (3) view the online catalog to see if there is anything specifically mentioned.

Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax

There is a 15% buyer's premium added to each lot, discounted 5% for invoices paid with cash or check.  Gallery 95 Auction accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Money Orders, checks, and wire transfers.  The buyer's premium is added to the final hammer price of each lot.

Lots purchased via online streaming are subject to a 20% buyers premium and phone bids are subject to a 15% buyer's premium no "cash or check" discount is given if using these platforms. 

An 8% South Carolina sales tax is added to the hammer price and buyer's premium for in-state purchases. Sales tax does not apply to items shipped out of state by a licensed shipper or bidders with a current resale certificate. If you have a resale certificate you need to fill out the resale form at the gallery.

Telephone Bidding

Gallery 95 Auction welcomes Telephone Bids for cataloged auctions only. Please submit bids at least 24 hours before an auction to ensure proper execution of the bid. Gallery 95 Auction cannot guarantee Telephone Bid requests received on the day of the auction. Please call (843) 784-5006 or email info@gallery95auction.com to request a Telephone Bid registration form. Telephone Bid registration forms are always available at Gallery 95 Auction during preview.

We require a credit card number and a signature for all Telephone Bids. Forms can be faxed back at (843) 784-5007, or scanned, and emailed to info@gallery95auction.com.  Please remember that your bid is a contract. Place a bid only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the successful bidder, you have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase the property.

Absentee Bidding

Please request an Absentee Bid registration form by calling (843) 784-5006, or emailing info@gallery95auction.com. Gallery 95 Auction cannot guarantee Absentee Bid requests received on the day of the auction.

The bid you leave is the highest price you are willing to pay exclusive of buyer's premium and applicable tax. Please remember that in the event of a tie between two absentee bids, the bidder who submitted his or her Absentee Bid form first will win the lot. Absentee Bids are always confidential and executed at the lowest bid possible in relationship to reserves and competitive bids.


On Auction Day


Gallery 95 auction house is located at 24022 Whyte Hardee Blvd., in Hardeeville, SC.   Live gallery auctions will be  simultaneously broadcast in real-time over the internet,  where bids may be placed electronically during the sale. Our complete online catalog is published two days prior to the auction. After the Auction

Invoices are emailed to absentee, phone, and live streaming bidders the next business day after an auction. When submitting an absentee bid please be sure Gallery 95 auction has your current contact information.

Gallery 95 Auction accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Money Orders, checks, and wire transfers.  The buyer's premium is added to the final hammer price of each lot.
We reserve the right to not release property until a check clears with the bank.

Prompt Removal of Property

All merchandise must be paid for and removed from the premises within two (2) business days after the auction. Gallery 95 Auction does not have room to store items from past auctions on our premises and cannot be held liable for items left behind.

Items left at the gallery longer than three (3) business days after the auction date will be transferred to a storage facility and the purchaser agrees to pay a storage fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per lot for each day the items are not claimed. Plus a moving fee of $25.00. Items left at the gallery and unpaid for (5) days after the auction will be canceled and returned  to the floor for the next auction.
